SubX: Hello there! Getting started I would like you to tell me a few words about the creation of the band.
The group was originally created in the winter of 2006 by
Co.de.x. and Virus under the name of Declaration: Holocaust, but due to
several problems and unfortunately lack of interest we weren’t active at
all. We recorded a
demo that was never released and after a lot of
complications we decided to remain on hiatus. After 3 years of almost
being disbanded we decide
to regroup and create new material and start
recording our both next and first at the same time step. In 2010
we
recorded our first promotional material for the album that we are
currently working on right now.
SubX: What are your main influences? What’s the content of your lyrics?
Except musical influences like Deathspell Omega, Ved Buens
Ende, we are being influenced visually and mentally by things such as
religion, spiritualism and generally anything about inner philosophy.
Our lyrics are mostly about religion, how to understand the idea behind
the name of god, Satan etc. We are not promoting any religions ,we
create our own path, without the satanic gibberish that is mostly
promoted by black metal. we don’t want anything that has to do with
religious or any kind of submission to anyone or anything. Not to be
misunderstood we are not supporting any churches and leaders of any
kind(for those that think that we are some kind of Christian group).
SubX: Are you pleased by the feedback of your promo?
So far everything is going great, the promo has given to the
audience the taste we needed to give and we want to believe that we have
earned some friends for the band. we hope that this will go on.
SubX: The band was called “Declaration:Holocaust”. Is there any specific reason that made you to change your name?
Actually yes, we weren’t always satisfied with our name
because for us it meant something else and more personal than the actual
meaning of the words. Declaration: Holocaust. We were often mistaken
for an N.S. band even though we never were one, we never supported any
politics. Anyway besides that we wanted to use something with more
spiritual meaning and what would be more fitting than a religious word.
Right now we are promoting our new name to clear the ground for the
upcoming album.
SubX: Are you planning to release a full-length album soon?
As mentioned above we are currently recording our full length
album, and also we have an addition to the band (even though a session
member),Lethe from Order of the Ebon Hand will sit behind the drum kit
throughout the recording sessions. We hope the album will be released by
the end of the year.
SubX: What thoughts or feelings do you want to express through your music?
We want to express the need of searching our inner selves, the
need that everyone should have to become a better being. Also we want
to show people that everyone is above any religion and doctrine, that
everyone can live and evolve (or not) the way he/she chooses. We are the
key to spiritual prosperity. We oppose anyone that submits to any kind
of religion to prosper in any way whether this is Christianity, Satanism
or paganism etc.
SubX: Is there any song that you’d really like to cover and why?
We don’t have anything like that in mind, at least for now, maybe in the future.
SubX: Which are the expectations of Septuagint?
For you, I can’t really know. the sure thing is to expect an
album that will blast your ears out! For us, we are doing everything as
we hoped and expected.
SubX: What are your plans for the near future?
For now to finish our album release it and then maybe a split
or two. Who knows, right now we are focused in finishing the album the
way we want it.
SubX: Thank you for your time.! The last words are yours.
Thank you too. Hail Sainteerie!!! Preach The Psalms Of The Impure!!!
