Επεισόδιο 3 : Μουσική Βιομηχανία και Heavy Metal, θέμα που αποτελεί ένα πολυεπίπεδο χώρο σφύζων από ζωή μα και διαφθορά, ηθική, μουσική, εμπορική… Η ιστορία της, καθώς εκτυλίσσεται και εξελίσσεται, χρόνο με το χρόνο, δεκαετία με τη δεκαετία, σε κάποια σημεία μοιάζει με οικτρή πλάνη. Άλλες φορές πάλι βρίσκουμε στιγμές υψηλής ποιότητας. Αυτή η «διαστροφή», κάποιες φορές σε πλήρη αντιπαράθεση με τον μεταλλικό αντικομφορμισμό, συγκλονίζει στην αφήγησή της. Ο χειρισμός του θέματος δεν απαιτεί αιφνιδιασμούς, επιχειρηματολογικές υπερβάσεις. Κάθε άλλο! Επειδή έχει επιβληθεί σαν μια αδυσώπητη θεώρηση-πρακτική της ανθρώπινης Metal φύσης, η ανάλυση που θα επιχειρήσουμε ομονοεί στο να έρθουν στην επιφάνεια, ακόμα και ως επανάληψη της σχετικής γνώσης, ο σκοπός της ύπαρξής της, τα θετικά και αρνητικά της εξάρτησης των συγκροτημάτων από αυτήν, το κατά πόσο το προφίλ της συνάδει με τις προσδοκίες, τις βιοποριστικές, τις δημιουργικές ανάγκες των μουσικών. Επίσης σε ποιο βαθμό η «χρήση» της κινδυνεύει από την ανεξάρτητη ατομική πρωτοβουλία (DIY), ενίοτε και στάση, απέναντί της.Τέλος, σχολιάζουμε πως η αρχική underground τοποθέτηση ορισμένων συγκροτημάτων στις επιχειρηματικές της διαθέσεις και εφαρμογές μετεξελίσσεται από σχέση απαξίωσης σε εξάρτηση λατρείας, πολλάκις και υποτέλειας.

Επίσης, με την ευκαιρία επανακυκλοφορίας των album των KAWIR σε Clear vinyl και CD με αρκετά bonus tracks, το ιδρυτικό τους μέλος, Πάνος Ματεμτζής (Therthonax) σχολιάζει τα album αλλά και την ηχητικοθεματική των νέων τραγουδιών που το σχήμα γράφει και ηχογραφεί για τις ανάγκες της επερχόμενης δισκογραφικής τους παρουσίας.

Episode 3: Music Industry and Heavy Metal, a subject that is a multi-layered space teeming with life but also corruption, ethics, music, commerce… Its history, as it unfolds and evolves, year after year, decade after decade, in some parts seems like a pathetic fallacy. At other times we find moments of high quality. This “perversity,” sometimes in stark contrast to the metallic counterpoint, is shocking in her narrative. The handling of the subject does not require surprise, argumentative overreaching. Far from it! Because it has imposed itself as an inexorable view-practice of human Metal nature, the analysis we will attempt is united in bringing to the surface, even as a repetition of the relevant knowledge, the purpose of its existence, the positives and negatives of the bands’ dependence on it, the extent to which its profile is in line with the expectations, the livelihood, the creative needs of the musicians. Also to what extent its ‘use’ is endangered by the independent individual initiative (DIY), sometimes even attitude, towards it. Finally, we comment on how the initial underground positioning of some bands in its business dispositions and applications is transformed from a relationship of disdain to a dependence of worship, often even subordination.

Also, on the occasion of the re-release of KAWIR’s albums on Clear vinyl and CD with several bonus tracks, their founding member Panos Matemtzis (Therthonax) comments on the albums as well as on the sound-theme of the new songs that the band is writing and recording for the needs of their upcoming album.
